I want to Be little again

With Graduation right around the corner I realized that I am taking my first steps as an adult and yeah
I want to go to McDonald’s and think that it’s a four star restaurant.
I want to sail sticks across a fresh mud puddle and make ripples with rocks.
I want to think M&Ms are better than money because
you can eat them.
I want to lie under a big oak tree and run a lemonade stand with my friends on a hot summer day.
I want to return to a time when life was simple.
When all you knew were colors, multiplication tables, and nursery rhymes, but that didn’t bother you, because you didn’t know what you didn’t know and you didn’t care.
All you knew was to be happy because you were blissfully unaware of all the things that should make you worried or upset.
I want to think the world is fair. That everyone is honest and good.
I want to believe that anything is possible.
I want to be oblivious to the complexities of life and be overly excited by the little things again.
I want to live simple again.
I don’t want my day to consist of computer crashes, mountains of paperwork, depressing news, how to survive more days in the month than there is money in the bank, doctor bills, gossip,
illness, and loss of loved ones.
I want to believe in the power of smiles, hugs, a kind
word, truth, justice, peace, dreams, the imagination, mankind, and making angels in the snow.
So…here’s my checkbook and my car keys, my credit cards and all my responsibility.
I am officially resigning from adulthood. And if you want to discuss this further, you’ll have to catch me first, ’cause,
“Tag! You’re it.”

Wind Fire and Earth

Do you remember the 21st night of September?
Love was changing the minds of pretenders
While chasing the clouds away

Our hearts were ringing
In the key that our souls were singing.
As we danced in the night,
Remember how the stars stole the night away

Ba de ya, say do you remember
Ba de ya, dancing in September
Ba de ya, never was a cloudy day

My thoughts are with you
Holding hands with your heart to see you
Only blue talk and love,
Remember how we knew love was here to stay

Now December found the love that we shared in September.
Only blue talk and love,
Remember the true love we share today

Ba de ya, say do you remember
Ba de ya, dancing in September
Ba de ya, never was a cloudy day

Ba de ya, say do you remember
Ba de ya, dancing in September
Ba de ya, golden dreams were shiny days

Ba de ya de ya de ya
Ba de ya de ya de ya
Ba de ya de ya de ya de ya

How to tape a hockey stick

How to Tape a Hockey Stick Blade
When taping around the blade, start with a strip of tape at the bottom of the blade on the toe, and pull the tape down the length of the blade to the heel, keeping the tape centered on the blade edge. Neatly wrap the excess edges of the tape upward onto the edges of the blade.

Next, starting at the heel of the blade, wrap the tape vertically around the width of the blade. Begin to move the tape down toward the toe of the blade by diagonally wrapping the tape only slightly, overlapping the previous layer by 1/4 of an inch.

By wrapping the tape from heel to toe, small pockets of air are created which can help a player receive a pass, and can put spin on a shot, adding puck control. There are some arguments that taping from toe to heel will keep the tape neater, which is a matter of personal preference. Players may want to try using a hair dryer to securely seal the glue on the tape.

Black cloth tape is preferred by many players, especially on the blade, because the opponent cannot easily see when you have the puck. Also, ensure that the tape on the inside of the blade is perfectly flat to ensure proper puck control, and do your best to keep the back of the blade's tape flat as well.

How to hockey edition

For those who are just starting to play hockey here is how you put gear on

Here is a step by step guide to putting on hockey equipment:
1. Put on your undergarments. These can be compression shorts or jock shorts. Jock Shorts have a pocket for a cup and velcro tabs on the front and back of each leg to attach your hockey socks to. Jock shorts can be worn over compression pants. Some compression shorts also have a cup pocket with the velcro tabs.
2. Step into your athletic cup by putting both feet through the elastic waistband. Secure the garter belt around your waist, making sure that it fits snugly and comfortably around the groin area but is not too tight.
3. Put on your Hockey Pants/Girdle. Tighten your pants with the belt so that the pants fit comfortably but provide for adequate flexibility. If they are still too loose, you can use a pair of suspenders to keep them up.
4. Put on your shin guards (these will go under your hockey socks). Make sure that you leave enough space near your ankles for your skates. Some shin-guards have straps that can be tightened. Others need to be secured with hockey socks.
5. Hockey Socks are long cotton socks that are open on the top and the bottom. Your hockey socks go over your shin pads and attach to your garter belt.
6. Put on your skates and tie them very tight without cutting off circulation to your feet. The bottom of your knee pad should come just to the tongue of your skate. Tape everything in place.
7. Shoulder Pads go over the compression shirt or t-shirt. Slip your head through the middle hole and put your arms through the arm bands underneath the shoulder plate. Tighten the straps until the shoulder pads are secure but allow adequate range of motion.
8. Elbow Pads go over your long sleeve compression shirt. The joint of your elbow should rest squarely in the cup of the elbow pads. Adjust the staps so the pads fit tight but are still be comfortable

hockey super stars

I was skating down the ice as I saw the fat kid come up near me. He was moving so fast and he was so fat I knew he wasn't going to be able to stop. I hustled to get away from this fat kid until he tripped me up with his stick.

I got up and yelled at the kid and pushed him on the ice. He began to wimper. The refere rushed over and gave me a penalty. As I skated off the ice I exchanged words with the refere and the fat kid. While sitting in the penalty box I thought what I should do, Hit the kid again, or leave him alone. I'll hit him again! I got up to leave the penalty box and the man running the box grabbed me.

Penalty Box Man: Hey! you cant hit that fat kid again. That would be mean.

Me: Why?

Penalty Box Man: I told you, it would be mean.

Me: I'm going to anyway.

Penalty Box Man: Oh no you wont!

Me: Ow hey man dont touch me, wo dont touch me!

Penalty Box Man: Yo refere get over here.

Refere: Get this kid out of here. He wants to hit that fat kid again.

Me: No I didnt!

Refere: Okay son I beleive you but you're going to have to be a good boy.

Me: Yes!

I skated back onto the ice and immediatly hit the fat kid.

Bruce Almighty

"God is a mean kid sitting on an anthill with a magnifying glass, and I'm the ant. He could fix my life in five minutes if He wanted to, but he'd rather burn off my feelers and watch me squirm."

Bruce: What if I need you? What if I have questions?
God: That's your problem, Bruce. That's everybody's problem. You keep looking up.
